Google Now is going to add to Chrome

Google Now’s personalized Google Now search service, first introduced in Android 4.1, is more likely to appear in future releases of the Chrome browser for Windows and Chrome OS.

Someone François Beaufort, who was not involved in any way with the search giant, looked at a code review for future versions of Chromium and found a curious revision entitled " Enabling testing Google Now component extension ."

In fact, we are talking about the inclusion of Google Now functionality in Chromium. You can enable an extension through the corresponding flag in chrome: // flags , getting something like this in the list of extensions:

')
For further work and testing, it is proposed to enter the address of the Google Now service server directly in the debugger and, after a restart, thereby receive the Google Now cards in the browser.

localStorage ['server_url'] = 'http://example.com';

The problem, however, is that the corresponding URL is unknown (enthusiasts have already tried the most appropriate ones, like now.google.com ) and therefore full testing of the new functionality is not yet available to everyone. Nevertheless, it can be carefully assumed that it is unlikely that Google is going to hide a new feature, although specific plans for a release are, of course, conjectures.
