Seafile 1.5 released with LDAP support and client CLI
Somehow I missed the release of a new version of the server to organize my own cloud file storage with automatic synchronization between clients. According to the developers, with the latest version 1.4 only a few errors were detected during file synchronization and all of them were fixed in the new version, so the file synchronization function is now considered stable.
The main improvements added to the new version are LDAP and client CLI support.
Among other changes:
Playing video / audio files directly in the web interface via MediaElement.js
Editing library name / description
Improved information on the public page
Support for file encoding selection when browsing through the web interface
Improved viewing of images through the web interface
Fixed bug when using HTTP server via HTTPS

Just before the server, a new version of the client was released, in which 2 long-present, but recently detected synchronization problems were fixed. Well, the main improvement is the presence of the client CLI. Thus, it is now possible to use the seafile client without an X server. For his work requires a server version not lower than 1.5.
Among other changes:
Displaying a detailed synchronization message in the tooltip in the tray
In the version for Linux, the web admin now does not start when the client starts
