RoboPhilo - a $ 500 humanoid robot

Surely you know that lately more and more compact robots appear in the world and even in our country. The stores have a lot of simple devices with a cost in the region of 100-150 dollars which are quite affordable, but, unfortunately, are rather limited in their capabilities. Also in large cities now is not a problem to buy a robot from $ 1,000 and above. But in the average price group is not so simple. There are devices, but not so many. One of the new products in this segment is RoboPhilo.


RoboPhilo , this is a compact robot that implements quite complex movements and at the same time its cost is much lower than the analogs that are now widespread. For its $ 500, this sturdy one is able to compete on equal terms with more expensive competitors, and at the same time, in order to derive pleasure from it, it is not necessary to abandon life to the altar of robotics and programming.

The robot is supplied assembled and therefore you do not need to spend hours or days assembling all the components. Also included is a handy program for programming new movements, an SDK for those who want to use all the features of the robot and the control panel.



The thirty-centimeter robot is equipped with twenty separate servo drives allowing maximum use of all limbs in complex scenes. Unfortunately, to reduce the price, developers had to use a plastic chassis and simpler servo drives, however, the robot is not bad at all.
