Google developed smart interactive sneakers (+ video)

Not so long ago, I saw an article somewhere (kind of like even on Habré) that Google is releasing a lot of weird and very strange devices. The rows of such devices have been replenished with the appearance of the “talking sneaker”, or “Talking Shoe”. True, these shoes are unlikely to hit the shelves of sports shops. So, the creators of this robotic sports shoe took Adidas basketball sneakers as the basis, stuffing them with electronics. The elements included in the design include a gyroscope, an accelerometer, plus a Bluetooth module. All this allows sneakers to "understand" what is happening and react adequately. At the same time, Talking Shoe may well be called a virtual trainer, since shoes react with caustic remarks on the owner’s attempts to sell a workout. But in case of success, wearing smart shoes, the latter will praise him.

Electronic components installed on the shoe, get all the necessary data about the person's position, mode of operation / running, process this data, and transmit to the smartphone. Developers from Google have already called their creation "smart shoes with personality that can publish their history on the Web."

What is interesting, these shoes are one of the first attempts to make our clothes interactive with you. Maybe the current project is more like a joke, but Google Glass has never been taken seriously before, although now more and more people want to get this device, and in some countries and individual establishments Google Glass has already been banned.
