Yesterday at a closed press event,
Mark Zuckerberg presented a new format of news feeds on the world's largest social networking
site, Facebook . You
can see what a new news feed looks like
on this page, right there you can sign up for a design update waiting list.

In short - this
- more visual content (large images, thumbnails of shared links, activity from third-party applications, etc.),
- several news feeds to choose from (where they promise not to filter the content, but to show everything, everything),
- the same (or, rather, similar) view and functionality on different platforms (desktop, tablet, smartphone), and
- sidebar, which allows you to quickly navigate to different sections (news, groups, chat, applications, etc.)
')
Here is a
small video presentation of the new news feed (in English)Here is the
complete record of the presentation of the new news feed (in English,
you can download the video in the 1920x1080 extension
via this link ).
In addition, the
corresponding section in Russian is already available in the Facebook Help Center. The new design will gradually become available to each user, for mobile updates will begin in a few weeks. I remind you that
www.facebook.com/about/newsfeed - here you can sign up for a waiting list and get a new design before others.
PS
I can’t insert a video from Facebook via iframe, and from livestream too.
