Tern - clever javascript editing with type inference

Marmijn Haverbeke, the developer of CodeMirror's great in-browser editor, has written a Tern JavaScript type inference engine for integrating with code editors. Tern analyzes source texts on the fly as they change, using the algorithm (pdf) used in the Mozilla SpiderMonkey engine.

Tern’s source code is not yet open, but the author promises to open it in the case of successful crowdfunding, but in the case of very successful crowdfunding, even the creation of plug-ins for two editors of public choice is promised. At the same time, the source texts on the demonstration page are not obfuscated, so nothing makes it difficult to look at them out of curiosity.
