Google prepares rival Amazon Prime

There are many people in the world who want to receive their order, made on the web, not in a week or two, but in a day or two. For these buyers, there are special programs, including Amazon Prime. This program has several privileges, including:

- Free two-day delivery of orders within the United States.
- Free access to Amazon’s Amazon Instant Video streaming service.
- Free access to a large number of books for owners of Amazon Kindle e-books.
')
It is worth noting that Amazon Prime is a paid service, and the cost of a subscription is $ 79 for an annual subscription.

Google seems to be preparing a competitor for this program / club. Google is going to make its own similar program, and the subscription will cost $ 10-15 less, i.e. $ 69 or $ 64 USD per year.

Probably, the program will be called “Google Shopping Express". As one of the services, day-to-day delivery will be offered if we are talking about delivering goods from Target, Walmart, Walgreens and Safeway stores. Of course, this form of delivery only usa.

Once launched, Google’s service will compete not only with Amazon Prime, but also with eBay Now, Postmates “Get It Now" and some other services / startups. Tom Fallows is currently in charge of the project, which is very experienced in the field of e-commerce.

Among other things, the BufferBox and Channel Intelligence, previously purchased by BufferBox and Channel Intelligence, will also be useful for the new service. By the way, Channel Intelligence was acquired for $ 125 million, which is quite a lot. Sources that provided information to techcrunch claim that there are no obstacles to starting the service. So, probably, soon we will see another service from the "Corporation of Good".
