Poll. Are you ready to change the programming language and platform at the suggestion of the customer?

On our project, an event recently occurred that, in my opinion, is rather unusual for software development. The fact is that the customer was so pleased with the result of our work that it was decided to replace our project with an existing solution in the package of programs sold. All anything, but this package is sold together with servers based on * nix platform, and our product is written in ASP.NET MVC. After some time, the customer decided to rewrite the backend in php to provide deeper and more controlled integration with his other products. Appreciating the experience gained by the team in the development process, all of its members were invited to participate in the rewriting while maintaining their roles and positions. Opinions were divided, which is why the idea to create this poll was born.
