Privacy and its violation by web2.0 services

Probably everyone has already read about how users swore on Facebook about the violation of their privacy. As is known, much of the western web comes to the Russian segment with delays. Apparently, therefore :) only now the SUP company introduced the My Guests feature which similarly violates the privacy of LJ users. The main problem I see is that disabling this feature is not provided for and is not planned (see the comments on the link).
That is why to combat this innovation, or rather, for the ability to disable this mode, the returnmyprivacy community was created.

Although the problem seems to be something like LJ, nevertheless, I think that this is a very indicative precedent. Unlike classmates, it seems to me that the SUP is a more open company and I personally hope that the continuation of the violation will be the same as in the case of Facebook. At least we will look at the difference between Russian and foreign users with regard to their own privacy :)
