Evernote was probably hacked

According to information from the official Evernote blog , hackers probably managed to gain access to some user data:

However, the investigation revealed that unknown persons had the opportunity to access user data, including user names and email addresses, to which Evernote accounts and encrypted passwords were associated. Although password information was available, note that all passwords stored in Evernote are protected by one-way encryption (in technical terms, they are hashed with salt).

At the moment, the developers have forced the password reset procedure, so do not be surprised if your client asks for a password.
