Communicator i-mate with Intel Atom processor and Windows 8 Pro

A curious communicator was presented by i-mate at the just-concluded Mobile World Congress forum. At first glance it seems that this is a typical device on Windows Phone 8, but your eyes are deceiving you: the gadget is running full Windows 8 Pro, which was made possible using the Intel Atom processor (Clover Trail platform). The communicator is equipped with a 4.7-inch display, 2 GB of memory, 64 GB storage, as well as wireless HSPA + and LTE 4G interfaces. Sales of the new i-mate are supposed to start in summer, its cost will be $ 750.
I-mate also plans to manufacture a docking station for the new communicator, which turns it into a full-fledged desktop computer. The docking station comes with a 23-inch touchscreen monitor, keyboard and mouse. In addition, as an additional component, a 10-inch tablet with a FullHD display may be included in the kit.
