The Russian Post has unexpectedly seriously complicated the already difficult life of a recipient of international shipments. It turns out that since February, all the postal items received by the Russians without exception must have a full name, including the patronymic. Simply put - if you have a middle name in your passport, then it must be present on the parcel, otherwise you will not be able to receive it.Everything is normal, parcels without middle names can be received. Information - in the update at the end of the topic.

This practice has been in effect for about shipments sent within the country for about a year - without specifying the full name, the item was not accepted for shipment, but now such rules have been applied to international small packages.
Unfortunately, I was not able to get an order number that establishes these rules, but everyone can be sure of the rules by calling the Russian hotline (8-800-2005-888).
So what to do? Change your name in all your addresses to full. And by itself, to warn all sellers with whom you are dealing, the mandatory indication of the middle name.
For example, like thisThe Russian Post now requires a full name, middle name, last name. Therefore, it follows as follows: “Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov”. The parcel will be replaced with the parcel.
What to do if you are already sending?
Option number 1 - go to the post office and try to convince the operators that changing the address is difficult. Perhaps the order has not reached them yet, or they do not pay attention to him yet.
Option number 2, recommended hotline - the sender of the parcel must fill out
the address change application form in his mail - form CN17. It should indicate the change of the name of the recipient, and add a middle name to it.
Form CN17:

It should be noted that some of the Chinese stores and sites are already aware of the problems, and recommend to indicate the full name:

Site gsconto conducted a
small investigation , and found out that not everything is so scary.

It is still not clear who to believe - photos of the order or hotline, but at least a lot of people report successfully receiving parcels without a middle name. In my opinion, adding a patronymic to the address for future parcels will not be superfluous.
UPD2:
The post has finally been itched and posted a rebuttal on the
site - The absence of the middle name is not the reason for the return of the parcel.

In case of any problems, problems (since the false information reached the post office employees who took an unexpected initiative), I recommend showing the page of the site or its printout.
