The plugin turns the Firefox browser into a full-fledged file-sharing client, with which users can establish direct connections with each other and share files. The AllPeers work pane in the browser contains a contact list, as in “ICQ”. It indicates which of your friends is now online. You can always view files on his computer and, in turn, open files on your PC for public viewing or for individual users. Users can subscribe to the RSS feed with a list of new files on your computer and download them with one click. In addition to sharing files between users, the plugin is also a full-fledged client of the BitTorrent file-sharing network.

AllPeers closed beta testing lasted about five months. The Czech company-developer received venture financing from the company Mangrove Partners, which invested in a small company Skype, when she just started her business.
