Quintura is recognized as the alternative search engine of the year.

The AltSearchEngines blog has named the winners of their own ranking of the best alternative search engines , which it has been compiling for the past year. First place was taken by Quintura’s visual search engine, the brainchild of a company of the same name, the development center of which is located in Sergiev Posad, and the head office is in Alexandria, Virginia. Our congratulations to the team! :)

The second and third places were taken, respectively, by the “question-answer” service of Answers.com and the “classic” French search engine Exalead .

The choice of the editors of the blog was approved by many authoritative resources devoted to search technologies, although with reservations in the way that Answers.com got second place only because of its not quite traditional search ideology.
