Caterpillar, a world-renowned manufacturer of heavy construction equipment, introduced the Cat B15 , a secure smartphone running Android Jelly Bean. The device, enclosed in a rubberized aluminum case, according to the developers, will be able to easily withstand a fall from a height of 2 meters onto a hard surface, dive up to half an hour to a meter depth and will be able to work at temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius. From a smartphone of this class should not be expected out of the ordinary characteristics. It has a 4-inch WVGA screen, covered with Gorilla Glass; dual-core processor Cortex-A9, 512 MB of RAM and a 5 megapixel camera. 2000mAh battery provides talk time up to 16 hours. The device will be sold from March at a price of 329 euros.
