Self balancing cube

Guys from the Zurich Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control never cease to amaze. On Habré already written about their juggling quadrocopters .
This time they presented a cube that can balance on one of its corners. The secret lies in the set of flywheels located under the three surfaces of the cube. Each of them has an individual speed control, thus, by varying the rotation speed of each of them, it is possible to achieve preservation of the balance of the cube.
