Today at the MWC 2013 conference, Jay Kay Shin (head of the mobile unit) confirmed the date and place of the presentation of the new device. The presentation itself will take place on March 14 in New York.
The novelty will receive a 5-inch display with Full HD resolution, 2 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.2 as the operating system. All other specifications are under big question. For example, it is unclear whether the new Super AMOLED display or LCD matrix will receive, whether it will have an Exynos processor (and some) inside, or the company will turn to Qualcomm for help. It also remains unknown what design the flagship will receive. Samsung may abandon the pebble shape of last year’s flagships and return to a more “rectangular” design.
