Sounds unbelievable, right? Before the corporation of good, which forever changed the world in which we live, the co-founder of Google tried to change the way people order pizza. In his recently published speech at X Talk, Sergey describes an idea that, at that time, seemed to him to be quite ingenious, and seemed to change how people order their food.

Outside the mid-nineties, and all around use fax machines. Someone young entrepreneur Sergey Brin decided to collect all the available fax numbers of restaurants in the area, and upload them to an online form with which each user could place an order for food, and automatically send it by fax to the nearest restaurant. All ingenious is simple, isn't it? Sergey admits that he did not take into account one simple thing - the restaurant owners absolutely ignored their faxes.

“The importance and obviousness of the problem and its urgency for others, have no connection with how soon you can find the right solution,” he says.

His idea to rebuild the world of food delivery, of course, then suffered a complete failure. It is important that the understanding of this failure came almost immediately. “One order was enough for me to understand that people will not use this solution.” Failure is an important part of any journey.
