Collecting electricity from the environment

The German student designed a portable device for charging batteries using electromagnetic fields that surround us everywhere. For example, near high-voltage power lines, near working household appliances, etc.

The LED on the charger indicates when the electromagnetic field is suitable to generate a current of sufficient strength to charge the batteries. The inventor says that a normal AA battery is quite realistic to charge per day.
