Last week, I visited a press conference of one of the major retailers, where, in addition to the results of the company itself, there were figures for the mobile device market that I found interesting.
In 2011, of the total volume of phones sold in Russia, only 20% were smartphones, in 2012 - 30%. At the same time, revenue from smartphones was 67%.

It is interesting to look at the proportion of smartphones sold. If in 2011 the share of smartphones on Symbian was 48%, and on Android it was 31%, in 2012 these figures turned into 17% and 57%, respectively. Approximately the same ratio in revenue.

Laptops began to be sold a little more, netbooks a little less, but the number of sold tablets grew almost fourfold.

I note that this is the official sales statistics. In some products (for example, iPhone) the share of gray imports is quite high, but we will not see it in the statistics provided.
