Began updating Sony Xperia smartphones to Android 4.1

This week, the first batch of updates started - Xperia T and Xperia V smartphones, and in March, an update for Xperia TX will begin.

In addition to the standard features from Google, the release of Jelly Bean from Sony will include updated versions of WALKMAN, Album and Movies media applications, all multimedia content in one library, more desktop and widget settings, improved search and organization of applications. The viewfinder of the camera was supplemented by autotuning for shooting conditions, and switching between the main front-facing camera is performed in one tap.

The owners of these smartphones will receive notifications as soon as Jelly Bean is available for their devices. In most cases, the update will be available over the air, but in some cases this will require the use of PC Companion or Bridge for Mac software.
