The Pirate Bay 2.0
The Pirate Bay's busiest torrent tracker decided to play around with Web2.0 and take advantage of the fact that after the death of the pig, there was no normal music tracker (let's face it). TPB added a small, but very important “Artist Info” field to the torrents in which the artist and the album are defined (in other words, ID3 tags are normally filled).
By clicking on the line “Show detailed artist info” we will be kindly shown a picture of the group / artist, upcoming concerts with her / his participation, a widget for playing similar artists (these three points work with your favorite last.fm), her / his albums list and similar musicians. And the latest lists come with links to the list of torrents. That is, if you want to search for Queen's albums, you can immediately go to their page http://thepiratebay.org/music/artist/Queen * without any search spam.
I wonder how CBS (or who bought Last.FM there) relates to this? Or they deliberately work on two fronts8)
