The British company O2, in collaboration with designer Sean Miles, developed a fully functional phone using recycled devices (telephones) and old (vintage) shoes. The project is called “Walkie Talkies” and is part of the O2 Recycle company, which allocates funds to those who process their gadgets. All proceeds from the disposal of devices go to
good ends .

Designer Sean Miles designed 4 models for which he used women's shoes Christian Louboutin, classic men's shoes, Nike Air sneakers and rubber boots Hunter Welly. They used old LG and Nokia phones, which were sent by O2 Recycle customers. Each such shoe can be used as a regular telephone. The phone itself is placed on the sole in the recess, probably not to damage it when walking. The user can only see the monitor and keyboard, which is made in the style of shoes.

Shoes by Sean Miles is the first product in the range that the designer develops for the O2 Recycle. In the future, he plans to develop bags with integrated phones and gloves. Apparently this is done for individuals who are constantly looking for in their bag, among other things clutter, a calling device. The whole set will be presented at one of the exhibitions in March, where visitors will have a chance to win all the elements of the collection.

The author created this project as an object of art and hopes that it will cause at least a smile and approval, and at most, that people will use, at first glance, these unnecessary things.
P.S. By the way, you can get up to £ 260 for old devices on
the company's website .
