Simkl - the keeper of instant messaging history

Rejoice! Finally, the storage of IM history on the server is no longer just for Google Talk and Jabber users! Of course, it was possible to organize the storage of message history on the web before, but all this was done with the help of dances with a tambourine, scrap and some kind of mother :)

Now, it's all very easy to do thanks to the new startup Simkl .

At the moment, the service is in closed beta testing and it is possible to register in it only by invitation.
Simkl site is available in three languages ​​- Russian, Ukrainian and English. Also available in all three domain zones - respectively .ru, .ua and .com

Currently we have successfully tested our history saving service for working with such programs:

* AIM v5.9 and below, AIM v 6.5 and later
* ICQ 98, ICQ 99, ICQ 2000, ICQ 2001, ICQ 2002, ICQ 2003, ICQ5, ICQ6
* MSN v4
* QIP 2005 all versions (ICQ protocol)
* Miranda IM (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo)
* Pidgin, aka GAIM (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo)
* Trillian 2, Trillian 3, Trillian Astra (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo)

The following messengers will not work with Simkl History Keeper:

* Microsoft Live Messenger
* AIM 6.0 to AIM 6.4

It's very simple, Simkl works as a proxy server, so you can use it from almost any program that supports connection through SOCKS5.
I checked Simkl in Pidgin and QIP. In both messengers, the flight is normal :)
