Golden Telecom acquired Nizhny Novgorod alternative telecommunications operator Telkom

Golden Telecom acquired a 100% interest in Telkom LLC, an alternative telecom operator from Nizhny Novgorod. The acquisition of Telkom will give Golden Telecom additional business development opportunities that will allow it to increase its customer base in the Nizhny Novgorod region, according to a press release.

Telkom LLC was established in 1999 as a company providing local communication services. Telkom has its own distribution network. The company has been assigned a number capacity of 17 thousand numbers, of which 12 thousand numbers were installed and received permission to operate at seven communication facilities.
