Chelyabinsk Internet users are so harsh that they organize a conference among the week.
On February 20 and 21, the next Ural Web Developer Conference, UWDC, will be held in the most “harsh” city of the country.



Four years ago, several Ural guys wanted to organize their online conference with blackjack, solitaire and poetess. So began the history of UWDC. From the Ural sidewalk, the Ural Web Developer Conference quickly turned into a federal event. After all, it is not often possible to arrange such a development outside the capitals.

This year the conference will be held in a completely new format, on a new platform. A year ago, some sections were so popular that they hardly fit everyone. Therefore, UWDC'13 will be held in the entertainment complex MEGAPOLIS , which not only comfortably accommodates a larger number of participants, but also helps culturally relax after a busy day of reports.

Web development
The excitement around cloud technologies has subsided, and frontend-development comes to the first lines of the news, driven by the growing popularity of mobile platforms - we will pay close attention to it at UWDC'13. Server programming also did not stand aside, and among other famous speakers, we traditionally expect Alexander Makarov to arrive from Yii.

Design
The main message of this year: more practice, experience, stories about experiences with morality, and less transcendental chatter. Master classes and workshops are planned.
Our speakers will share their experience in the development of metro schemes, the use of infographics on the web, and we will also talk about the interfaces and analyze the Illustrator's tools when working with them.
Specifically, the design section will be held in a small nightclub, it is very comfortable, the interior is excellent, and even a bar with a working bar will be located right behind the listeners;)

Traditionally, this is one of the most intense and popular sections at the conference. Roman Rybalchenko will come from Kiev to tell how web analytics can help save the budget and increase conversion, and he will also hold a visual workshop on web analytics.
