There was an analogue of Google Scholar in Russian

In July 2006, the Scholar.Ru service began its work - a search for scientific publications in Russian. This is a specialized search engine that indexes dissertations, monographs and other scientific materials in PDF formats (this is the preferred format), DOC, RTF, HTML, DjVu, PostScript, PowerPoint, various archives. The prototype for its creation was a similar service Google Scholar , which began work in November 2004.

At the moment, the base contains over 24 thousand publications, which are divided into thematic headings: chemistry (132), physics (101), mathematics (6), Computer Science (336), economics (44), biology (39), philology ( 34), geology (64). The creators of the site are constantly looking for archives of scientific publications on the Web and add them to the search index. This can be done by the authors of scientific works themselves through a special interface .
