IOS 6.1 Video Review

At the weekend, Apple introduced a new version of iOS 6.1 Beta 5 for developers (which most likely was GM), and today iOS 6.1 has been released to the public. Updates, to be honest, are of little interest to Russia, but not everything can be seen and understood right away. That is why, in the review all the found "chips" of the update, which could come out at number 6.0.3, are described.

As a result of persistent studying of the OS, the following lines came out:

- Support for new LTE networks in 16 countries of the world (including even Africa, but not Russia)
- Increased work autonomy
- Ability to purchase movie tickets through Fandango using Siri (US only)
- iTunes Match users can now download individual songs from iCloud
- A new button to reset the advertising identifier (in the overview tells what it is)
- New player on lockscreen

Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of global marketing, said that iOS 6 is the most popular mobile system available on the market. At the moment, it is used by about 300 million users worldwide. Especially, I want to note the fact that this version of the OS on iPhone 4S / 5, iPad 3rd and 4th generation is still not hacked. But nevertheless, users are updated, which means the Jailbreak begins to lose its popularity and interest.

Among other things, Apple’s vice president of marketing focused on upgrading to LTE, which is improved by iOS 6.1, noting that “ more users will be able to enjoy Safari’s super-fast browser, FaceTime calls, iCloud services, iTunes, and the App Store downloads. ” which leads to one thought ... but then lets go.



Also, with the release of the 5th beta version of iOS 6, hackers found mention of an Apple device with 128 GB of memory in the firmware logs. Today it became known that this is the iPad 4, the purchase of which can be made already on the 5th ferval. (Damn! IPad with 128 GB! My MacBook Air 11 uses less memory ...)

And one more (for someone joyful) news : this Sunday, February 3rd, Jailbreak iOS 6.0 and 6.1 will be released. Immediately it became clear that Phil Schieler jinxed.
