Ultra-compact, highly integrated x86 board from AMD

GizmoSphere and AMD introduced a highly integrated Gizmo Board for independent developers, manufacturers of embedded systems and geeks.

Gizmo Board is a four-inch square PCB, charged with a dual-core x86-processor G-T40E, which operates at a frequency of 1 GHz, and a Radeon 6250 GPU. directly on the board, it is possible to significantly limit it. The device can work under Android, Linux or Windows and is equipped with the following communication connectors: SATA, Ethernet, USB, VGA, Audio, PCI, PCIe, as well as a bunch of GPIO pins.

While the price for the Gizmo Board is set at around $ 200 per Explorer kit, which probably prevents it from becoming as popular as the Raspberry Pi or other low-cost ARM board, sometimes x86 is needed to perform certain tasks. With the powerful graphic potential of Gizmo, it is quite expected that this board will find its application in computer vision systems or autonomous robots.
