Firefox 3 will fix memory leak issues
Users of the Firefox browser probably know its biggest drawback, which cannot be solved for more than a year - memory leaks . With all open tabs and graphics in memory, sometimes the browser “eats” up to 200 MB of RAM. The saddest thing is that this problem is not solved even in the second version of Firefox (codenamed Bon Echo), which is currently in beta testing.

But few people know that in parallel with Firefox 2, the next version of Firefox 3.0, codenamed Minefield , will be developed, which will appear in 2007. So, even in the alpha version, this browser never takes more than 70 MB in memory, even with a dozen open tabs. You can download, for example, the distribution under Windows ( 5.8 MB file ) and check it yourself.
