I associate Zalman exclusively with the production of reliable and technologically advanced cooling systems. But, just the other day, Zalman officially presented to the public three-dimensional monitors, called Trimon. Special glasses, a video card from NVIDIA and a stereoscopic driver, and ready: a three-dimensional image on a conventional LCD.
Trimon lineup includes two devices. These are the 19-inch
ZM-M190 and the 22-inch
ZM-M220W . Their resolution is 1280 × 1024 pixels and 1680 × 1050, respectively. The brightness of both displays is 300 nits, the contrast level is 1000: 1, and the response time of the matrix is 5 ms. As for the viewing angle, for the standard 2D it is 160 degrees, and for 3D - 90 degrees. Both three-dimensional monitors are equipped with interfaces D-SUB and DVI-D. In addition, both the ZM-M190 and ZM-M220W are equipped with built-in 2W speakers.
It is worth noting that at the moment
40 games have already been
released , in which support for a three-dimensional image is declared. There is, however, a small fly in the ointment: for GeForce 8000 series cards, NVIDIA has not yet released a 3D-enabled driver. So the owners of the newest graphics accelerators will have to wait until January.
