I-Teco OpenStack Cloud: Results, Questions and Survey
A month ago, a new service I-Teco OpenStack Cloud was launched. Today we can summarize the first results of testing. So what do we see?
• High demand for a cloud platform for SMB: we planned that the number of users of the OpenStack Cloud at the pilot stage would not exceed 100, however, the estimated threshold was passed during the first hours of operation. New capacities were operatively connected, which made it possible to provide access to everyone. Some users have tested the service even on New Year's Eve!
• Now more than 1000 users work with the service.
• As a result of the scaling carried out, 2,000 virtual machines and more are available for use in the pilot zone - as the demand grows, we will connect new capacities.
• For free testing, configurations of any scale were available, but medium configurations became the most popular.
Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on working with the service, you helped us a lot! To take into account and structure all wishes, we decided to conduct a survey among those who tested the service .
