January 18, 2013 a new version of the minimalist distribution for advanced users of CRUX 3.0 has been released . Let me remind you, it is from this distribution that the popular Archlinux takes its development. CRUX features in its minimalism - removed unnecessary localization and documentation, has a BSD-like initialization system and follows all the principles of KISS. The main change in the new release is to stop supporting the x86 architecture. Now the build will be only x86_64. Let me remind you that the development team always supports only one platform, and if earlier the main one was x86, and x86_64 contained volunteers, now everything is vice versa. Moreover, the standard package does not even have libraries for running 32bit applications.
