Nintendo celebrates another victory. Having successfully started, the AAA-title Super Mario Galaxy for Wii now boasts half a million copies. And it is only in the USA. Commercial success was reinforced with critical success.
This project from the Japanese publishing house ranked second on the GameRankings.com chart. The event is more than remarkable, given that the toy has managed even at some point (albeit not for long) to overtake The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Super Mario Galaxy - the third in a row three-dimensional arcade in the series. Before that, there were Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. The toy looks very nice and, apparently, is played no worse at all (note by the author: not worse, not worse!).

By the way, if you look at the initial splash screen of the game with its name, the letters of the phrase “Super Mario Galaxy” marked with asterisks are added to “URMRGAY”, which can be translated as ... ahem ... :)
Although, maybe Nintendo's pranksters-designers meant that the game will be played by just funny people?
