No time

In the 60s of the twentieth century, it was believed that the invention of all the new time-saving technical equipment in the 21st century would lead to a sharp reduction in the work week, semi-annual leave, homework; to combat idleness need consultants for leisure. However, the “future of deadly boredom” (© Arthur Clark) did not come. Research confirms the constant lack of time. The speed of movement of people on the sidewalks has increased by 10% over the past ten years. And the duration of sleep was reduced to five to six hours, whereas at the beginning of the twentieth century, people slept about nine hours a day, and in the 1960s, around eight.

Futurologists did not consider one small thing. With the advent of each new technical means, the information flow is compacted, and with the advent of personal computers, the real tsunami hit us. And one more factor that everyone has in the language is marketing and advertising. As one person said, “typical marketing is the imposition of an unnecessary product by artificially creating a non-existent need for it.” This is exactly what happens in most cases. These two factors eventually led to the creation of the term “Economy of Attention”, the concept of which is already being implemented . And man has to spend extra time, and considerable time, on the selection and analysis of incoming information.
