
The publication of the “TsODy.RF” magazine became a logical and timely response to the demand for a specialized professional periodical on this topic that has emerged in the data center sphere. Unparalleled in the information flow of Russia, it examines not only individual data center systems, but also general market trends, talking about professionals who influenced the industry in our country and abroad, presenting the experience of Western specialists and innovative technologies that open up new opportunities for suppliers and consumers of data center services. Photo tours through the largest Russian data processing centers and discussion of data center projects with market experts are of undoubted practical value.
The concept of the TsODy.RF journal is based on an integrated approach to the coverage of design, construction and operation of the data center, accurate positioning and orientation to a highly specialized audience. The central office of the publication includes representatives of various levels of posts. As the research data show, top managers show considerable interest in publishing, making up 18% of the publication’s audience. About a quarter of Central Asia are middle managers, 59% are specialists.

About half of the magazine’s audience (48%) are data center consumers, who need up-to-date information regarding the choice between a particular data center. "TsODy.RF" is distributed free of charge: by subscribing on the same website, any resident of Russia or the CIS countries will be able to receive it by mail. The first issue of the periodical was sent with a gift from KROK.
The first issue of the “TsODy.RF” magazine, which was released in the fourth decade of October, managed to receive high marks from experts from Russia, Europe and the USA, being presented at the eight largest thematic forums and conferences of the fourth quarter of 2012.
One of the first with the magazine were able to familiarize the participants of the conference DatacenterDynamics Converged, which was held on November 1 in Moscow. Participants took with interest the periodical "TsODy.RF". Leading IT specialists gathered at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Moscow prepared reports covering the commercial, engineering, and IT aspects of data center optimization, and presented case studies. For consideration of the participants, such important issues as the formation of data center, outsourcing strategies, modernization of various data center systems were presented. One of the sections was moderated by Alexey Degtyarev, Director General of Media Grus CJSC.
The event included an exhibition of equipment from the largest manufacturers and suppliers.
On November 15, the V Conference “Information Technologies in the Oil and Gas Complex and Energy” was held. Participants who gathered at the Sheraton Palace Hotel in Moscow were pleased to see the TsODy.RF magazine. Speakers at the conference raised issues of modernizing the IT infrastructure of enterprises in the industry and optimizing business processes through the use of new IT products. Presentations were made on the topics of information systems supporting the management of production assets, features of work and prospects for the development of a distributed multi-service network, the use of techniques to assess the maturity of IP, to ensure integrated information security, the use of electronic document management system, the implementation of the idea of "mobile office".
On November 15-16, the All-Russian Forum of Data Center Operators was held, gathering in St. Petersburg the largest industry experts who were interested in the magazine “Data Center. RF”. Being a platform for an active exchange of experience and business contacts between professionals in the industry, the event raised issues of design, construction, operation and modernization of various data centers. The forum participants touched upon the topic of productive interaction with both vendors, contractors and equipment suppliers, and with authorities. Speakers prepared reports on the nuances of domestic documentation and foreign standards of the industry, discussed the features of the service, reviewed the prospects for the introduction of new services, stressed the need to improve the level of information and economic security.
On November 22-24, the XX All-Russian Forum of Hosting Providers was held, gathering participants at the Raivola Hotel in St. Petersburg. After reviewing the contents of the magazine “TsODy.RF”, the participants appreciated it. The event included: a round table of the commission of hosting providers and registrars of RAEC, a working meeting of the KC national domain and TCI with registrars and hosters, as well as several conferences. At the conference “Hosting Market. Autumn-2012 ”studied the features of the business social network“ HostObzor: ONLINE ”, the difficulties and advantages of hosting mail on its own server, the provision of site protection services against spammers, etc. At the event“ Data Center Market. Autumn 2012 ”summed up the All-Russian Forum of Data Center Operators, presented a draft social network for representatives of the industry, reviewed the experience of operating its own data center abroad. Conference “Domain Market. Autumn 2012 ”was devoted to the consideration of the practice of UDRP in the Russian Federation, the latest services of the TCI, pre-trial settlement of disputes on domain issues, the results of using the DNSSEC protocol in the zone. RF.
On December 6, the MSK-IX2012 peering forum was held. The audience gathered at the Moscow International Trade Center seriously became interested in the TsODy.RF periodical. The event, devoted to examining the prospects of Internet Exchange and interaction of providers, brought together Russian and Western specialists in the industry, including both employees of provider companies and operators, and representatives of government bodies (including the State Duma) and non-governmental organizations related to this field. The issues of technical features of connecting to MSK-IX, filtering illegal content in Runet were discussed, prospects for the development of peering centers and changes in tariff policy were discussed. During the lively discussions, the participants came to a number of conclusions, including the need to build new sites to create peer-to-peer connections between Internet providers and improve the technical level of existing ones, as well as expand the range of services provided.
December 11, DataCenter Forum was held, which brought together numerous data center owners and consumers of their services in Moscow. The magazine was enthusiastically received by the target audience. The event was devoted to the development of the industry of data centers in Russia, the analysis of rapidly passed stages and making predictions for the future. In addition to global discussions on this topic, the forum participants discussed the features of managing remote data centers, raised issues of efficiency and energy saving of the data center, and studied the latest trends in the Russian market.
December 12, the XIII Forum "Information Technologies in the Financial Sector" was held on the topic of the effectiveness of IT strategic management in this area. The IT management staff of banks and insurance companies, representatives of suppliers and thematic media were pleased to get acquainted with the TsODy.RF periodical and took an active part in the discussion of innovative IT solutions for banks and insurance companies, investor strategies, the development of electronic sales in the insurance sector . Within the framework of the forum held by AHConferences, an exhibition was held, presenting new information technologies for the financial industry.
December 12–14 and December 17–18 at the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics underwent training on IT topics, the participants of which became interested and joined in a stormy discussion of the TsODY.RF journal. The presentation of the publication took place in the framework of an agreement between the company - the organizer of DCProfessional Development and the publishing house "Media Grus", stipulating the popularization of the magazine in the framework of the DCD events.
As part of the International Professional Development Program for Data Centers, translated into several languages, the training sessions “Conceptual Foundations of Data Center Design” and “Best Practices for Energy Efficiency of Data Centers” gave a complete picture of current trends and the latest technologies in the industry - from designed to management, developed indispensable practical skills and outlined the overall picture of the IT infrastructure.
The only thematic periodical on the Russian information market about data centers "TsODy.RF" contains information both on the invaluable experience of domestic and foreign professionals, and on the latest trends and innovations in the industry. Publishers did a great job of popularizing the magazine: the first issue was widely known among highly specialized audiences, gaining recognition both in Russia and abroad.
