Nokia exceeded expectations, selling 4.4 million Lumia phones in Q4

This is one and a half million more than in the previous quarter, and the best result for all quarters after the launch of the phone.

Since autumn 2011, a total of 14.3 million Lumia handsets have been sold. In addition to Lumia, the company sold 9.3 million Asha phones in Q4 and only 2.2 million Symbian devices. The preliminary financial report of the Finnish company also shows that its unit for services and services achieved a “base profitability”, contrary to the bleak prospects that Nokia itself drew for itself for the 4th quarter.
