Internet swindlers caught in Irkutsk

In Irkutsk, international fraudsters who worked via the Internet were detained, reports Interfax-Siberia . For several years, a young married couple and their accomplices sent out via e-mail and ICQ offers to sell fake documents.

An employee of the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Irkutsk said that there are more than a thousand victims of criminal activity, and they are scattered throughout the world. Fraudsters took money for falsifying documents, but after that contacts with clientele were interrupted. Ordinary fakes cost $ 400-500 , but there were special offers - diplomas "with full wiring", when, allegedly, information about the "graduate" was entered into the database of educational institutions. The price of such transactions ranged from $ 2,000 to $ 4,000.
