Microsoft R & D office robbed, only iPad tablets stolen

The small Daily Post newspaper, which is published in Palo Alto, reported a curious case of robbery that occurred during the Christmas holidays, although the company announced it only on 2 January. The robbers broke into one of Microsoft's office buildings at 1075 La Avenida Street in Mountain View, where Microsoft R & D is located.

Thieves cleaned out three office premises and stole five Apple iPad tablets, including two iPads 2, two iPads 3 and one iPad 4.

None of the Microsoft products were stolen.

The story of a Microsoft office robbery was first considered an anecdote, but a few days later the author of the article, Angela E. Ruggiero, confirmed that the story is really true. Microsoft R & D specialists are developing mobile applications, including those for iOS, so the presence of iPads in the office can be understood. The thieves really didn’t want either Microsoft Surface tablets or anything else from office gadgets (although maybe there was just nothing but iPads).
