OpenOffice.org now in Rostelecom

Rostelecom, the national long-distance telecommunications operator , has begun implementation of the office application package OpenOffice.org Professional .

"The introduction of free software across the company allows you to significantly optimize financial costs," said Andrei Baklykov, director of the IT department. “The specialists prepared a special version of the OpenOffice.org Professional package, which takes into account the peculiarities of working with office applications in the Rostelecom IT infrastructure.”
