Yesterday, the Finnish company Nokia officially announced the start of sales of its latest product - the N810 Internet Communicator, which was announced about a month ago.
The unique uniqueness of the device lies in the absence of the phone function: the device is primarily intended for traveling on the Internet and all kinds of entertainment (music, video, photos, etc.) and is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. As for the other technical characteristics, the Internet Communicator is based on the 400-MHz TI2420 OMAP processor, has 128 MB of DDR memory, 256 MB of NOR flash memory and another 2 GB for the user's needs. If this is not enough, you can insert an 8-gigabyte SD card into the device. Oh yeah, fashionable now QWERTY-keyboard is also present.
The device will be sold at a price of about $ 480, which is not so little, given the absence of a GSM or UMTS module.
