Lenovo showed 10 kilogram tablet

At the consumer electronics show CES 2013, which is now taking place in the US, Lenovo showed a tablet the size of a small table. IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC has a diagonal of 27 inches and weighs 10 kg. At first glance, the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC looks like a candy bar, but without a stand. As Lenovo says, the device is an “interpersonal computer,” that is, a device that was originally conceived as a solution for the simultaneous operation of several people.

The Lenovo tablet runs under the Windows 8 operating system. Inside the Horizon Table there is an autonomous power supply, so if you wish, the gadget can be used without connecting to the power supply.
The PC provides all the features of Windows 8 and allows you to play multiplayer games on a huge screen with support for multitouch technology (10 touch points). It comes with special accessories: these are “electronic bones”, four joysticks and strikers. They open up new opportunities for games, combining physical and virtual interaction.

Weight IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC is 10 kg, the price is 1700 dollars.

PS: These are official videos, not a joke on April 1st. I can imagine how the kids dragged this tablet to their room and that father wouldn't notice. Fragile mother takes a tablet and walks briskly into the living room only to talk on Skype. Brainstorming roller.
