The Association of Communication Agencies of Russia has published statistics on the Russian advertising market in January-September 2007. As one would expect, the Internet remains the most promising and fast-growing direction in the entire advertising industry.
In the first nine months of 2007, turnover of online media advertising (without contextual advertising) amounted to 2.6–2.7 billion rubles, which is 53% more than in the same period last year. For comparison, the entire Russian advertising market grew by 24% over the year.
