Android GameStick: The World's Smallest Game Console
There are 1.4 billion televisions in the world, but less than 1% of them are used for gaming. This is crazy, say the developers of the new GameStick game console, which started the collection of money for Kickstarter. GameStick is an open source project that aims to free the set-top box market from closed platforms. The Android ecosystem already has more than 700 thousand games, many of which are great for playing on TV, with a little refinement. Currently, negotiations are underway to port about 200 games from the Google Play catalog to GameStick.
