Jiayu G2 - a great price / size / functionality ratio!
On Habré, it has been repeatedly mentioned how much the Chinese smartphone market has stepped forward. Today I will talk about another device from the sky - Jiayu G2. This is the only smartphone with a screen diagonal of 4 inches, 1 GB of RAM and costing up to $ 200.
The device is sold in various versions, in the minimum configuration, its cost starts from $ 160. An excellent price tag for such specifications for a smartphone with a 4-inch screen is exactly the size I consider ideal.
The smartphone comes in a plastic box, similar to those in which I persecute printed circuit boards wrapped in thick paper. This, to be honest, I have not yet seen, but on the other hand, I should note that in a plastic bag, the device has more chances to “stay alive”.
Consider a complete set:
I ordered the maximum: 2 batteries with a capacity of 2050 mAh, a power supply with an adapter, an external charger, a headset, a film on the screen, a cover and various documentation. Now about everything in order.
Included are 2 batteries, which is a definite plus in cases when I forgot to put the phone on for night charging. They weigh well, so there is no doubt about the actual capacity.
The 500 mA power supply was disappointing, considering the high battery capacity. The charge time of the battery in the phone is 4 hours, and when using an external charger, it increases to 7 hours. Could put at least 1A, but, again - look at the price.
Sin was not to disassemble the BP. Inside everything turned out to be at a decent level. Soldering more or less and still tried to wash off the flux.
We were pleased with the external memory, especially it helped during the testing of the device, but when using it, the battery charges longer than on the phone.
Also included was a headset on the release and documentation in Chinese.

At the bottom - MicroUSB connector, microphone hole and a slot, with which you can remove the back cover. A little higher, already on the back of the phone, lurked an external speaker and a brief information about the device.
Left - the volume rocker, without a separator and any identifying marks. Despite its simplicity, it has a clear tactile response, which makes it possible to use it when wearing a bumper.
Behind - the company logo, camera and LED flash, unfortunately - one.
The back cover is made of flexible plastic with soft-touch coating, which prevents the device from slipping out of the hands. The cover is sturdy and tight to the phone. In addition to black, there are also covers of white, orange, yellow, green and blue, but they are glossy.
It is fastened with 12 plastic latches along the entire perimeter of the smartphone.
In general, the appearance makes me only positive emotions. Brutal bar with high-quality assembly and, accordingly, without the slightest backlash or squeaks.
It should be noted that those 2.5 GB are reserved for the internal memory of the smartphone and for its full work you will have to purchase a microSD memory card. For example, the camera will not work for you (save pictures) if a memory card is not inserted in the slot.

With regard to daily use, then with my typical scheme of operation, the device barely lives to the end of the second day. My typical scheme of operation looks like this: getting off the charge in the morning and going to school. All this time, i.e. Hours 8 works 2G-Internet, at home constantly Wi-Fi. For the whole day, about an hour of browsing is completed, plus the same amount of reading and listening to music. Calls take about 10-15 minutes of time. Also included are push notifications from VK, Twitter and Gmail.
Given the ratio of the diagonal of the screen and the battery capacity - not the best indicators, I think you need to sin for poor optimization of the firmware. Although it is possible that I have performed too many background tasks, because according to information from various forums, for some people the device lives 4-5 days.

Putting it back in reverse order. In general, the device can be easily disassembled / assembled, there are no complaints about soldering or accessories. Everything is done with high quality.
Sunlight, unfortunately, I never managed to catch, but on a typical winter day, the screen remains readable even at a brightness of 40%.
In general, the display has left only positive impressions. Another would be to increase the resolution to QHD (expected in the G2S model) and for me personally the screen will be perfect.

Operating system firmware
