Good evening, Habrazhiteli!
The last working day this year is coming to an end, with which all of you from the heart and congratulations! The final novelty of 2012, which the company Samsung Electronics announced a couple of days ago, was a new smartphone from the GALAXY family - Samsung GALAXY Grand.

The novelty is a follower of this year’s flagship Samsung GALAXY S III, but with a more affordable price tag. To reduce costs, unfortunately, I had to pay with a HD screen, replacing it with WVGA (480x800, TFT, capacitive multitouch).

Under the hood, the Samsung GALAXY Grand runs a dual-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz of a still unknown breed. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash memory. The volume of the drive can be expanded using microSD cards (up to 64 GB). Samsung GALAXY Grand is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh.

The smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, which is pumped by a backlight sensor (BIS) for taking pictures in low light conditions. She can also record 1080p video. In addition, there is a front-facing, 2-megapixel camera for video calls. All this stuff works on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which means that the device will delight with performance without brakes and glitches.

The novelty will be available in two versions: on one SIM-card (GT-I9080) and in Duos format (GT-I9082), with two slots for SIM-cards. The first in the domestic market will be a version with two SIM cards in February 2013 at an approximate price of $ 550.
