Bitcoin Foundation holds a competition for projects on standardization, protection and promotion of Bitcoin

Winners of the competition will receive grants from the Bitcoin Foundation. Acceptance of applications ends on February 15, 2013. The application should contain a brief description of the project, the rationale for its benefits for cryptocurrency, a description of the qualifications and skills of the performers, the time frame and budget.



Applications can be sent to lindsay@bitcoinfoundation.org. Winners will be determined within 4-6 weeks after the deadline for submission of applications. Details are in the Bitcoin Foundation blog .



The Bitcoin Foundation opened in October 2012. His goal - to promote the sustainable development of cryptocurrency. The Board of the Fund includes Gavin Andersen - the key developer of the client and the Bitcoin protocol, Mark Karpeles - the CEO of the largest Bitcoin exchange Mt.Gox, Charlie Schrem - the CEO and co-founder of Bitinstant and others.
