We present you the project belrr , which allows you to take a fresh look at the weather forecast.
This article briefly describes the key stages of development.

Multi-page and Animation

Multipage - the forecast for each day consists of a separate page. As it happens, to create something new, you need to try a different approach. The usual one-page forecast, which we can meet on sites with the weather, we decided to organize a multi-page one, which allows us to make each forecast memorable.
Completely separate from this project, interested in animation on web pages. As a consequence of the trial version of belrr , the forecast animation made a little cloudy weather. I liked the result of the attempt and made me smile. Then we decided to make the transition from day to day, between pages and weather changes with animation.

Vector clip art

As you know when zooming in png and jpg format, pixels are visible. Considering the rapid development of displays, the increase in their resolution and the desire to keep the pictures drawn by our creative designer in the same quality on each display, on the site we use only vector images in the svg format. We are looking for an opportunity for this format to express itself on belrr.

Plans

Soon it is planned to add a detailed forecast for today, to expand the functionality. There will also be new features that have not been seen on weather forecast sites.
