Once upon a time I thought that linux is a very complex axis, which is suitable only for pre-brain-bone programmers and cool admins. Once upon a time I thought that the main advantage of MacOS over Windows was working with color. And many of my friends still think the same.
This is such a myth that Mac for designers and terribly expensive, Linux for programmers / admins, Windows for everyone else. As though it is softer ... the operating system of mass consumption :-) And now the first two axes suffer mainly from this myth.
But now I know that the class teacher (a biology teacher, and never a geek) may well work under linux, and that yesterday's student can afford Mac, if only on credit (you just need to know what you are paying for), and working with the color in the poppy, it's just a nice addition to a bunch of other rulez. Well, Windows has its advantages ... ... probably ... ... well, there are games, and there is Photoshop. ')
Why am I doing this? Not to the next holivaru. Besides the fact that myths need to somehow get rid of. If it were not for them, I would have plunged into nirvana much earlier :-)
