RBC and Vedomosti again did not meet in court
The consideration of the claim by RBC to Business News Media, the publisher of Vedomosti , was postponed by the Moscow Arbitration Court until August 22, RIA Novosti reports. The delay was caused by the petition of the lawyers of the respondent - time is necessary for submitting to the court the candidatures of arbitration assessors.
On Tuesday, the court also granted the request of Vedomosti to bring a third party into the business of RBC Center, which is the administrator of the RBC website.
Mikhail Dubik, CEO of Business News Media, believes that RBC’s lawsuit is a distraction of public attention from its ID’s lawsuit: “Their goal is to make such a“ mirror ”lawsuit and create an impression among the audience that this lawsuit is equal to that of Vedomosti "Against them."
